Places to stay and eat in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). Stay here and discover this wonderful Welsh National Park.

The Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) is a stunning part of Wales that’s made for outdoor adventures, but once the hiking boots are off, it’s also a brilliant place to relax, refuel and get a good night’s sleep. Whether you’re looking for a cosy pub with hearty food, a stylish café for brunch, or a welcoming B&B to rest up after a day on the trails, there’s something here for every taste and budget.

In this guide, I’ve pulled together some of my favourite spots to eat and stay across the region, from tucked-away village gems to more well-known stops in places like Brecon, Crickhowell and Abergavenny. Whether you’re planning a weekend escape or a longer walking trip, this list should help you make the most of your time in the Beacons – and enjoy a few creature comforts along the way.

I have put together a comprehensive list of walks in this area, you can find them here.
