Routes & details – www.welshmanwalking.co.uk/Tube Trekking London
I spend quite a lot of time in London, mostly in and around the suburbs, the towns on the outskirts that are full of wonderful parks, shops, restaurants, pubs, and they all have a community which I’m starting to get to know. Places such as Richmond, Chiswick, Hammersmith, Greenwich, Notting Hill, Ealing and many more, which I love and starting to explore.
London has everything, and you can get pretty much anywhere very quickly using the tube stations, and so I have started mapping out interesting sightseeing walks starting and ending at various tube stations, and listing as many places as I can to make it an interesting walk.
I have seen some wonderful places, and there is so much more to do, and this section keeps me excited about going to London, and coming back with a new ‘Tube Trekking Guided Walk‘.
Walks so far:
- Richmond upon Thames – Royal Palace, River Thames, Shops, Pubs & Cafe’s, Richmond Park and it’s Deer, Gardens & Lakes.
- Chiswick Outdoor Market Walk + William Hogarth – Turnham Green to Chiswick Park Tube Stations
- City of London Walk – Sky Scrapers, Monuments, Tower of London, Tower Bridge and River Thames
Coming soon –
I have a couple already done and ready to go up, these include a walk from Notting Hill through Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, and also a walk around Ealing which has 15 parks! The greenest London suburb.
We have also walked along the River Thames starting from Chiswick, Brentford & Hammersmith, and we have so many others planned including starting in Slone Square, walking through Chiswick and finishing in Battersea, can’t wait.
